Field Technician

Connectra Technologies is looking for Independent Contractors across North America for installation, preventative maintenance and repair dispatches in the field as per the standard installation practices, following all policies and procedures and maintaining a safe working area. If you are a qualified professional in the Cabling, Data and/or Network Field , we would like to partner with you for field services.

Key responsibilities:

• Installation of equipments (Modems, Routers, Switches), Demarc Extensions(Extending CAT5 Cable/Terminations), LAN Drops, as well as working with customer help desks to configure equipment
• Performing work in Telecommunications, Network Infrastructure, Alarm/Intrusion Detection Systems, Video Technology Systems (CCTV) and Access Control
• The security work include installation of equipment (Panels, Keypads, Motions, etc) as well as working with customer helpdesk to configure equipment
• Installation Of Alarm Panel of Vista, Honeywell, and Ademco.
• Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining the proper solutions
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Managing all On-Site Installations, Repairs, Maintenance and Test Tasks
• Producing timely and detailed service reports
• Following all the procedures and protocols of the company
• Cooperating with the technical team
• Building positive relationships with customers

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Qualified professional in the Data and/or Network Field
• Experience in a Customer Service Oriented position
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
